Greater than 25 pounds or 300 plants, but less than 2,000 pounds or 2,000 plants carries a minimum mandatory sentence of three years. Greater than 2,000 pounds or 2,000 plants, but less than 10,000 pounds or 10,000 plants carries a sentence of seven years. If you are in possession of over 10,000 plants or 10,000 pounds, the sentence is 15 years.
